TF Prime Breakdown

hello folks! Here I am again with another transformers prime toy figure Breakdown by Takara. Lets see will give a short input bout this fig. Now, breakdown's a decepticon partner in crime of knock out and the sorta rival of Bulkhead. Then, Breakdown's career ended by airachnid in the early episodes of 2nd season of the animation.

To start off, Breakdown is one of my favorite fig from the line. Mainly, for its good design from vehicle mode to bot mode. Can't say it's nicely engineered coz it ain't easy creating the fig but it is good enough.

Aesthetically, breakdown lacks details. Guess takara is in a rush so they just replaced it with stickers Lol. As you can see I haven't applied the stickers coz I don't like it. Prolly I would paint on the details in the future.

The only painted parts are the front bumper, grill, part where the plastic is made of clear ones. Thus, they have to paint the area that is needed to cover it up that is the part of the door w/ the side mirrors and some areas when on bot mode like the head and a certain block of the torso.

On transformation, it's not really complex. a couple of twist and turns especially on the front part where the arms are. Kinda stiff on the arm joints, seems like its gonna break while rotating the forearm. Scares me a little as well as the leg area, where the side fender/panel has a small tab that could break easily(somewhere on the upper part of the back area).

But overall breakdown is still awesome fig to have, highly recommend it. It comes with an arms micron, a weapon the can turn into a mini rhino but it is a kit the you have to build first before it would look like a weapon. (I love japanese creativity, turning the weapon into something else so it could be fun lol. cool!).
